Hope Institute is a training, research, and advocacy organization which found its genesis on the campuses of Hope Unlimited for Children. At Hope Institute, they transform the lives of high-risk orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) by using evidence-driven methodologies to improve the quality of care at orphanages around the world. They advocate for the residential model as the setting that provides the best opportunity for high-risk orphans and vulnerable children to become well-adjusted, self-sufficient, and productive members of their larger communities.

Making the lives of high-risk orphans and vulnerable children better is the heartbeat of Hope Institute. They don’t build orphanages; they share tools with those already doing the hard work of orphan care. They teach orphan care practitioners the very best methods to make their work successful, equipping the children in their care to thrive!

Hope Institute shares its expertise in vocational training and independence transition programs for orphans and vulnerable children with programs around the world. Often, programs are focused on immediate necessities, but these programs must never lose sight of the big picture: helping children prepare to live successful, independent lives. For this reason, Hope Institute teaches research-driven strategies that have proven successful in the field. They also adapt the training experience to each unique program, enabling them to address the challenges of OVC programs anywhere in the world.
